Emma's Bliss 2006

Emma is a lonesome pig breeder who treats her pigs with great care and slaughters them in the tenderest way possible. Her monotonous life is shaken up when one night a Jaguar smashes on her farm, carrying an unconscious man Max and a bag of stolen money. Max is dying of cancer. In Emma's isolated farm, he finds the perfect place and the happiest way to spend the last few weeks of his life. Dealing with death as part of her routines, Emma shows Max that there is no need to fear. Happiness, however short and passing, can be larger than life! Theirs is not a story of ifs and buts; it’s all about here and now.
